Instructions

 Direct deposit simply means depositing funds electronically into a bank account rather than through a physical, paper check. Direct deposit is the simplest and easiest way to access your pay check for Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools.

To set up direct deposit complete the Authorization Form for Direct Deposit or Money Network Service Card. You will need to download, print, and complete the form. Please have the following information ready when completing the form:

·       Social Security Number or Employee Identification Number

·       Department or School Name

·       Department or School Telephone Number

·       Account Number(s) and Transit Routing Number(s)

·       Voided Check(s)

Please note that you may elect up to two accounts for direct deposit. Once you’ve completed the form, you can fax the information to the Department of Finance, Metro Payroll Section, at (615) 880-2805. You can also mail, or hand deliver your form and voided check to the following address:

Please allow one-to-two pay periods for your direct deposit to be set up. Please note that direct deposit is handled directly by Metro Nashville General Government and not Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools.
